Wow it's been a long time since I updated this... I guess I don't take good care of my live journal ;_; It also seems like every time I do a post it's always to show off some new lewt... yeah well deal with it cause this time the content that shall be shown is extremely delicious and sexy :'D

Two weeks ago me and [info]agora ordered a magazine by the name of G's Festival from the japanese amazon website. Normally we wouldn't bother with such trivial paper items but this one caught our attention with its extras. [info]pedolicious had previously posted about it and praised its primary item which was a pillow cover with Shana on it, but it wasn't just any pillow cover... it was a full size Hugging pillow cover (Dakimakura in japanese). Official size is at 155x50cm yum :9

I was a bit hesitant at first: Would I dare get such a luscious item? ... needless to say it did not take much convincing on my part to go ahead and buy the magazine which carried the mentionned item. So that same day, day which I read Pedo's post, myself and Agora promptly ordered the magazine.

We are two weeks later and I am happy to show off some freshly taken pictures of the items, pictures you may fondle over after the cut ^^;

The holidays are upon us again!

Well the holidays are in full swing and we finally got snow today ^^
This won't be a long entry... just a small update.

Past days have been good, was getting really eager for the week long vacation that the holidays bring. I got some sweet swag for xmas! Got a new 2007WFP Ultrasharp 20 inch Dell monitor (a sweet looking widescreen LCD). Got some pyjama's, some cologne, some money, shirts and the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 DVD. Gonna be picking up a couple of PC games tomorrow and a new HDD on friday.

With the new monitor i'll be pretty much ignoring console gaming for a while since i'm going through pretty much every recent game I have only through a widescreen resolution. Might have to upgrade my vid card which runs everything full graphics right now but I know for a fact it'll have a hard time with Quake Wars and Crysis.

Anyways that's about it... cya later!

Update*** Company of Heroes and Warhammer Dark Crusade have been acquired ^^ ...Plus I got both for a total of 40$ !!

Sometimes going back to old and familiar places can be rewarding!

So I've recently watched the anime series named "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi". Not a very long series but still worth watching for the random humor and top-notch animation... Anyways this brings me to what I wanna say (and the meaning of my topic). Today I was browsing the web trying to keep busy before the end of day rush when I stumbled upon some new PVC figures of said anime series. They looked good and seemed very detailed but I wasn't satisfied in the least! So I remembered that Pedolicious had posted an image of a very kickass, finely detailed resin statue of the main character Suzumiya Haruhi. I was instantly impressed at how everything looked on the statue... So after browsing through the PVC figurines I started looking for the resin kit. I thought to myself that if I could get the kit I could get a hold of a hobby store owner to assemble and paint it. So after some fruitless searches on google I thought to myself that I could probably never get a hold of the statue which I valued so much... Just as I decided to stop looking I thought back to one of my old hobby websites which I used to check everyday for new releases in the market of anime figures and gundam model kits. Wouldn't you know it! There she was on the front page staring right back into my eyes. I had found her... finally! A piece worthy of joining the ranks of my figures and statues collection :D ... So I went ahead and ordered it even though the price is steep, this is one statue I do not want to miss my chance on getting. Anyways enjoy the same picture Pedolicious posted a while ago ^^

Oh and the website where I found this gem is www.e2046.com ... Enjoy :D

Give in to your black sheep... and seek new goals in life!

So yeah... you wouldn't believe it but i'm actually posting :O
I lol'ed when the thought of updating my LJ came to pass through my mind... but it is what it is afterall! ...a place to share your thoughts with the people you know (and some anonymous). Anyways! ...yeah it's been a while! so what?! :P
No seriously, i've got so much going on lately that I felt like sharing a little bit.

Recently Agora brought up a meaningful topic... life goals! If you wanna know more make sure to check out his LJ. So yeah Life Goals. I realized today that I am fully on my way to commiting to one of my life goals, although probably the least interesting it will permit me to live on through without having to rummage through garbage and sleeping in the streets... yes that's right, getting a more fulfilling job and getting a better paycheck! I'm not saying that what i'm doing now is not fulfilling but I don't see myself doing this job (QA Lead at Gameloft) for the rest of my life, especially not for what they're paying me. So recently i've taken the liberty of going through some steps in order to secure a more meaningful (would have said fulfilling... dodged one there) job and future for my well-being. These steps involve going back to school in the field of networking. Eventually becoming a networks administrator... something I see myself doing very confortably for at least 10 to 15 years. My dad actually works in a private company here in Montreal by the name of CGI and could easily get me a job as a Computer Technician which would then give me the opportunity to seek better positions inside the company to finally arrive at my goal which would be to integrate the networking department at said company. Anyways... it's a better salary for sure and it's job security as well. Mind your own business do what you gotta do and you'll do fine! :)

So anyways that's for my life as of late... now if you take a look at the gaming side of my life, wow is it ever hectic lol! So many games are coming out this fall/winter season that I feel my brain and eyes are gonna melt from looking at TV screens and Computer Monitors too much haha! ... Valkyrie Profile 2 came out today, picking it up tomorrow night (can't wait!!!). A small rundown of the games which I look forward to are as follows:

- Valkyrie Profile 2 (duh!)
- Battlefield 2142
- Children of Mana
- Final Fantasy XII
- Need for Speed Carbon

So that's for software... but what about hardware? damn are we ever lucky this year! Three major console manufacturers are going at it full force in November. There's gonna be something for everyone! ... and what console am I choosing you ask? I'm defenitely going for Wii on November 19th... that little jewel is just too good to pass up even if you're not a Nintendo enthusiast. Zelda Twilight Princess looks amazing and many of the launch titles look to be very promising. Apart from that... i've been having disturbing thoughts as of late. Thoughts of buying something I never would have believed to express interest for... An Xbox360 :O !! ... my reasons being that this year's Xbox lineup is actually looking very promising. A few notable goodies which interest me deeply are the following:

- Lost Planet
- Gears of War
- Lost Odyssey
- Blue Dragon
- Resident Evil 5 (I know it's coming to PS3 but they're gonna be scarce)
- Halo 3

Yes Microsoft has had a less than examplary release last year but they're really making up for it... In any case if all goes well I might be walking into the nearest EBgames next January and buying a nice little gift from myself to myself for my birthday :D ... Now chalk it up to insanity on my part but even with an Xbox360 and Wii i'd still be going for a PS3. Yes I would buy all three consoles! All the consoles actually interest me alot this time around (as being this soon to be present-gen next-gen). The only difference being that instead of acquiring a PS3 in January i'd wait till xmas 2007 and then go out to buy it along with Metal Gear Solid 4, Kojima's final realization and masterpiece in the series. Anyways... enough for now! I've talked enough haha... I dunno when's the next time i'll be updating but I do wish i'd get more inspiration and motivation to do so. Toodle~~~oo!

Oh yeah one last thing... i've been downloading videogame music like crazy as of late. If any of you are interested (even the anonymous) i'll post my list of soundtracks that I have on my hardrive.

I had a revelation today...

location: at home reminiscing about my grandfather...
mood: Sad and full of regret Sad and full of regret
music: Bonkers 16 - Hixxy and Recon

I'm too nice... granted it's good to be nice, but there's always a limit. I try my best to keep friendly relations and to build trust with the people I know... But I always end up feeling like i've put too much on and as time goes by i'm afraid I push these people away... that might just be my own crazy assessment, I tend to come up with these scenarios and ideas where I fall in as the victim. Then again, i'm also very careful with which company I choose to hang out with. Sometimes I will find it very hard to give my trust to a person even though that person is probably the nicest in the world... but there's also the kind of people in which case you present your trust and no matter how nice you are to them they never seem to want you around or are afraid to talk to you, or even worse they just plain don't like you... for whatever reason it is, even though they know nothing about you they just don't want you around. I'm afraid of the last statement because I too am like that. I tend to be very hesitant in choosing my friends but sometimes I will just hate a person even though I don't know them... I hate myself because of that. I tell myself I should get to know them better but I just give up and simply let my dumbass ego take over and convince me that it's right to hate that person :( ... why? why do I do that? i've been trying to answer that question for 6 years now... still no answer i'm afraid. Anyways, back to me being too nice... is it wrong to feel bad when you want an answer from someone? When I ask someone a question (sometimes important) and he doesn't answer I usually look the other way and say to myself: "ok maybe it was innapropriate" or "maybe he can't answer me" ... I look the other way... but i'm left with mixed feelings. Is he hiding something from me, he doesn't want to talk to me... whatever. That's just me, I get the wrong idea sometimes. This afternoon around 2:30, a person I know contacts me on MSN to chat... just chat. The conversation takes a weird turn where I asked a question I probably already knew the answer too, but he changes the subject and i'm left with nothing. It's moments like that where I get mixed feelings. Should I push to get the answer I want or let it go... I knew the answer I just needed to know from him for sure, but no, nothing! ... and in typical frank fashion I leave it at that... and that's what I mean by being too nice. I personally think that I don't push enough. I prefer being nice all the time, but sometimes I think I should push to get the answers I want instead of being so damn passive, the result of which I get pissed for nothing and look at everyone with angry eyes. I'm switching to french for the following... :( :( :( :( :( :( ......

Entk, no amount of sad smiley's is gonna fix how I was for the last part of the afternoon... I'm rarely like that, my friends know it... but sometimes a person is consumed by his emotions and gives in. I can't say it enough, I hate myself for being like that. One last time, i'm sorry to anyone I might have offended! If it ain't the case then it's just me and i've over-analyzed the situation (once again) and overreacted. Anyways... i'm off!

Alright... wow, i've been waiting for this stuff since February ^^ Finally they arrived yesterday and my heart was pounding with joy harder and harder as I was unpacking the items! I don't think i've been so excited about receiving any kind of merchandise... especially figurines! But both of these items had made such an impact on me back in February... the detail, the size, the coolness of them, all contribute to the excitement. As the months passed my patience failed but I was able to quickly recover lol ^^;

Anyways I don't like to stretch things any longer than they have to...

My weekend...

location: In front of my computer...
mood: calm calm
music: Nothing new... yet!

Well the LAN went fine! We Mostly played ETF which is an Enemy Territories mod... quite fun, the "chase the duck" mode was very entertaining. We of course played Enemy Territories where at which point it became a game of who can come up with the dirtiest names... Started off as Buttsecks then Assraper and the list continues, i'll let your imagination run wild on this one. That was about the extent of it... The other game we played was Warcraft 3 DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) which I couldn't play since for some reason I had graphic issues with it. Go figure how my brand new computer has issues with Warcraft 3 :S ... Anyways, we were a total of 16 people which was alot and no one played WoW (a miracle in itself). It started Friday night and finished today towards 4pm. We ate, we drank, we laughed, we had fun ... all in all a fun and successful LAN party ^^

I left around 2pm... the rest of today was me cleaning my appartment and boy was it due lol! Hurt my back doing it too haha, too much heavy lifting I guess (and stress too). Right now i'm relaxing in front of my computer typing this update (duh). Tomorrow is Patriot Day, or better known as a free day off from work ^^ don't know what i'm gonna do... might go see Da Vinci Code or Over the Hedge at the theater, we'll see! Anyways, I don't have much to say, my life has been pretty standard lately. So laterz!

... no reprezent and or desktop screenshot... i'll try to do those on my next update :D

Yeah sometimes I can have really weird ideas... or make very compulsive purchases. Like the one I made today! A Ceramic White PSP straight from Japan ordered at lik-sang.com !! I succeeded in selling my old psp with all the fixm's for a cool 225 beans to one of my friends who is now quite happy. So happy that he already bought Lumines and Daxter ^^ ... Always glad to make somebody happy!

--== Ceramic White PSP ==--

... Ok so that's out of the way! ... let's see what's new with me ...
The work load at the office has picked up again ^^ ... the days just wizz by! so much fun to actually work now lol! I've also recently started to take steps towards an eventual return to studies (which basically means i'm actually putting money aside for it). Speaking of which... I love working at Gameloft but I am in no way ready to commit to a third year there. My dad works at a company called CGI and he could get me a very decent job (15-20$ an hour) providing I actually go ahead and start up my studies again. So my decision was final (about a month ago) on doing a one year intensive networking program at Herzing college in Downtown Montreal. After that my dad will point me in the right direction and hopefully i'll have a network's technician position at CGI :) ...

But enough of that... I've been feeling pretty good lately. Health is ok, could be better but the exercise is keeping me in check... the diet will be harder of course :( My dad joined me at Energie Cardio and we now go together three times a week. It's always more fun to do it with someone you know instead of being alone all the time. Apart from my health i've doing some experimenting with programming on windows to get the feel of it. I've always wanted to understand how everything works but I never got the proper motivation to actually go ahead and do it. I wanna make a website soon... one where I would have my blog and some other useful stuff. But I don't see myself doing that until late this year.

I have a fun filled weekend coming... I am probably gonna get drunk off my ass for the first time since ~~~~~~ I can't remember :O It's my friends birthday party and much booze and fun is to be had! HAD I SAY!!! I'll give you guys an update on my weekend next week, till then keep the peace ^^;

Oh and my reprezent of course is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter but I couldn't find any good images so no display :S ... L8terz!!

Wow, been a while since I updated my journal... Been busy at home lately... planning easter weekend, helping my mom out with all the food for our family's easter buffet ^^
Lemme talk about my weekend a bit!

Friday, myself, my mom and dad, along with my grandmother, we went to Quebec to visit my great grandmother. We're talking about my grandmother's mother here. She's 98 and still kicking! She doesn't have illnesses or diseases or even cancer, she's completely clean. She doesn't even need crutches to walk, she walks on her power, it's absolutely amazing :) We stayed at the residence for about 2 hours and then we went to Val-Belair to visit some family members. We ate supper with them and took a walk in their neighborhood for good ol times sake. Reminisced about my grandfather (we moslty remembered the funny moments). We left Val-Belair around 8pm. Made a quick stop in Trois-Riviere and then we got back in Montreal around midnight. As for driving, we each did three hours of driving, me and my dad, so we weren't too tired at the end of the day. We had a nice day... slept like a baby ^^

Saturday was very boring but I didn't mind... was still kinda tired from Friday... had a nice surprise visit, my ex came over to see me (or should I say girlfriend now, still not sure). She had brought the cutest looking welsh corgi (my absolute favorite dog in the whole wide world). The dog was 2 years old. So cute ^^ ... She stayed till 7pm and then she left. Almost forgot the dog (damn I wanted to keep him :P). Saturday night I played the demo for Heroes of Might and Magic 5. Just wow, leave it to Ubisoft to take a dying franchise and make it into a blossoming flower. If you have time download the demo and be prepared to be amazed :) ... which leads me to my weekly reprezent j0!!

Sunday, we had our family's easter buffet at my aunt's house. So much food, so little space inside my stomach lol (I can eat alot, but I have limits). Three different kinds of macaroni salads, two differents lettuce salads, some ham, potato salad, many different kinds of bread biscuits, wine, beer, soft drinks... wow and the list continues :P ... Oh yes! 4 desserts... count them! 4!!! 1,2,3,4 :) ... Afterwards we mostly played cards till midnight and we all parted ways. We had fun as usual, we're a very close family.

As for today we'll i'm writing this post while my ex is playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on my PS2 ... I forgot to mention that (this should interest agora) I introduced her to Happy Hardcore music and she likes it... but she told me that it's gonna take some adaptation to fully appreciate the genre. We have another hopeful agora :)

So anyways that's for my weekend... a very straightforward weekend, I appreciate our day off today, it releaves some stress! Oh and i'm gonna start another new thing. I will start posting my desktop every week (as I change often) for you people. You'll be able to see what my work environment looks like (on my screens anyway :P). Keep in mind that the image isn't very high quality and that desktop consists of two screens and thus a bigger desktop area for me to put my icons and programs, windows, chats, etc.

Without further delay!

Peace out people ^^

Mickey is BAD-ASS!

location: Work

music: Final Fantasy Symphonic Orchestra - Live from Los Angeles

Yeah he really is... that is of course to anyone whose played the Kingdom hearts series! (which I strongly recommend) Leave it to Square-Enix to make a lovable, cute-looking mouse a totally badass and powerful character for thousands of over-aged gamers everywhere to love and cherish :P ... But enough of that! I bought Kingdom Hearts 2 last tuesday (it came in the mail from ebgames.com) and all i've played so far is that game. Back in 2002 I had actually taken a chance and bought the first Kingdom Hearts and was actually glad I took the risk because it quickly became my most cherished possession in my PS2 library while also being my fave rpg to date (on the playstation 2 at least). Of course my all time favorite will always be the extraordinary Xenogears on the original PSX. So while everyone, back in 2002, was saying how childish the first KH was, I was happily enjoying renewed memories of past Disney creations that I had encountered in my youthful days. Mickey, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Genie (god bless Robin Williams who gave his voice to that awesome character), Winnie the Pooh and so many others... It wasn't until a year later that people had started to recognize the awesomeness that was to be the Kingdom Hearts franchise! When I actually finished the first KH I was kinda sad (since I would have nothing better to play) but happy at the same time because of the ending which gave way to a sequel. Now normally you wouldn't know unless you had completed the game 100% and seen the hidden movie after the in-game ending which actually tells you something about myself... I fully completed the game which for me is an exploit and shows you how much I liked the game. If an rpg doesn't really peak my interest I will try to go through it as fast as possible and won't bother with the side quests or even leveling up. But Kingdom Hearts 1 had such an impact on me that I really felt the need to complete to game since I couldn't get enough of it... So after the hype had come and gone I was constantly searching for a new rpg to fill the void but nothing would quench my thirst (not even gatorade, thirst-quencher my ASS!). Xenosaga made it's appearance but I was left unsatisfied and never bothered finishing the games. Then Square-Enix announced the Kingdom Hearts sequel and my heart starting pounding in excitement. The announcement was officially made one year after the release of the first game which would be 2002. Fast-forward 3 years to now and you get a happy camper still enjoying the sight of old, youthful memories. Get Kingdom Hearts 2 now! and if you haven't played the first one well you can buy it as a greatest hits release (sucks to be you since you get the ugly red graphics on the box lol!!! noob!! j/k) ... Anyways it's totally worth it! and if you have a gameboy there's also a GBA game called Chain of Memories. Anyways, if any of you play the games don't hesitate to talk to me about it ^^

So I got that out of the way... i'll talk a bit about my weekend. Friday night I watched King Kong with my dad and ex-girlfiend. It's a good movie. I fail to see where the boring parts are since the movie is so rich in visuals that it's almost hard to keep track of everything. King Kong in itself is amazingly animated. Oh and part in the inner island is absolutetly horrifying... so many weird bugs and creatures! Let's just say I didn't touch my pizza during that scene lol :P ... Afterwards I brought back my ex home and came back to play some Kingdom Hearts 2 until the wee hours of the morning. Saturday I overslept and got myself a major headache. The thing about me is that if I sleep for more than 8 hours I get a headache... it's weird I know but my doctor says there's nothing I can do. Besides most of the time I sleep 7 hours and i'm fresh as a daisy. Saturday night me and friends went out and ate at Beni-Hana's. We had a good time, there was chef who made the food in front of us and gave us a show by doing tricks with the food. Afterwards we went to see a movie. Myself and half the group saw Ice Age 2 and the rest saw Inside Man. The second one was supposedly good and as for Ice Age 2 it was hilarious. They put so many scrats (the prehistoric squirrel) moments in the movie! Golden!! :) ... Sunday is always my stay at home and do some chores day. Woke up fairly early and cleaned my appartment. For supper me and my parents went to eat some ribs at my grandma's. They were absolutely succulent :9

So that's it for now... I'm expecting a couple things in the mail in the coming weeks so stay tuned for pictures and cute made-up stories with the incoming merchandise ;)

My weekly reprezent! (gonna make a habit of this... for kicks I guess!)

So that's all I wanted to say... just a small update ^^

I.AM.HAPPY.!

mood: Content Content
music: Dirge of Cerberus

I finally got my Dirge of Cerberus Soundtrack!! I was really happy when I unpacked it... everything was written in Japanese ^^ Anyways I thought that I would show off some pictures I took of the soundtrack box and cds (originally taken for another website). Most people would find it hard to appreciate an item such as this but it's kinda my new hobby (baby steps) and i'm glad it started off without a hitch... except for the hidden fee Canada Post slapped in my face but whatever!

The first picture is of course the outside of the box itself... it's a limited edition box which i'm
proud to say that I am the owner of the 5921th unit out of 6000 units available! And I didn't pay
an insane amount either... plus this box will let me insert the actual game into it once I get it of course :P

This next picture is the back of the box... now I know it's redundant but notice that in the first image
Vincent was the grey/black shaded character in the background. On this side it's actually Gackt
(a jrock idol in japan). I don't personally care for his music but I thought it was nice touch ^^

The next picture is the actual box of the soundtrack... It's a DVD case! How cool is that? It's
actually a good thing since there is more space for the art on the case. Compared to the regular
soundtrack this one beats it hands down! Once I get the actual game you'll see that both cases
are similar except the background color where the soundtrack is white and the game's is red!

This picture is the back of the case which shows the listing of the tracks on the soundtrack
nothing more... again the box art is still amazing even though it's only the back ^^;

And last but not least, the inside... It's a two disc set and, in my honest opinion, every track
of this soundtrack is amazing. Each song creates its own atmosphere and really translates
the games look and feel. You might say i'm crazy but i'm really attuned to this kind of music!

And that's all... I have more stuff coming in soon. I'll probably update my journal whenever I get the stuff... till then i'll keep you posted! Oh and I fucked up my LJ cut command... Agora will need to how me how to use them properly ^^;
